In addition to picking a special venue, delicious food, and amazing wine, he hired [John Wayland Harr,](https://www.gigmasters.com/acoustic-guitar/john-wayland-harr) an acoustic guitarist from GigMasters, to help enhance the Tuscan vibe for his special event.  ![](https://itg.thebash.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image1%20(4).jpeg?width=338&name=image1%20(4).jpeg) To kick off their special wedding weekend, they booked a venue that was meaningful to the both for their welcome/rehearsal dinner. The lovely staffed and exquisite wine venue, Alloro Vineyard, is located in Oregon wine country and Tuscan-inspired with red tiled rooftops and beautiful ambient greenery. The event was catered by Crown Paella in Portland. The paella meal was prepared in front of everyone and served in huge family style dishes - all of their guests loved it!  ![](https://itg.thebash.com/hs-fs/hubfs/RE%20blog%20image%201.jpg?width=225&name=RE%20blog%20image%201.jpg) Jonathan and Peter wanted to give their guests a true experience of feeling like they were in Tuscany, so they decided to hire an acoustic guitarist. After searching the GigMasters, Jonathan finally chose John Wayland Harr based on his audio clips included on his [profile](https://www.gigmasters.com/acoustic-guitar/john-wayland-harr) - but that his performance was "so much more in person." Jonathan shared, "Our guests loved his performance, bringing just the right amount of music and atmosphere to the situation where guests could still visit but enjoy familiar cover songs and Spanish style guitar playing." After the event, Jonathan left John a 5-star review on GigMasters: *“John was a delight! He was set up on time, played beautifully, and accommodated the music genre we requested perfectly. Everyone commented on how his live music added to the experience, and I'd hire him again in a second. He was professional, kind and reliable. Hands down, worth every penny.”*   **#thepartystartshere** Topics: [Real Events](https://itg.thebash.com/thepartystartshere/topic/real-events)   Blog Search ### blog sections - [Booking Tips (3)](https://itg.thebash.com/thepartystartshere/tag/booking-tips) - [Event News (1)](https://itg.thebash.com/thepartystartshere/tag/event-news) - [Gig Life (1)](https://itg.thebash.com/thepartystartshere/tag/gig-life) - [Meet Our Members (2)](https://itg.thebash.com/thepartystartshere/tag/meet-our-members) - [Party Inspiration (33)](https://itg.thebash.com/thepartystartshere/tag/party-inspiration) - [Party Themes (3)](https://itg.thebash.com/thepartystartshere/tag/party-themes) - [Real Events (40)](https://itg.thebash.com/thepartystartshere/tag/real-events) ### more info - [GigMasters Guarantee](https://www.gigmasters.com/guarantee) - [Event Expert](https://www.gigmasters.com/event-expert) - [GigKids](https://www.gigmasters.com/gigkids) - [Contact Us](https://www.gigmasters.com/contact) - [About Us](https://www.gigmasters.com/about) ### follow us  - [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/gigmasters/) - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/GigMasters) - [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/gigmasters/) - [Pinterest](https://www.pinterest.com/gigmasters/) ### don't miss updates YOUR EVERY EVENT MARKETPLACE COMPANY [ABOUT](https://www.gigmasters.com/about) [BRAND SPOTLIGHT](https://www.gigmasters.com/press-center) [CAREERS AT XO](http://xogroupinc.com/xo-group-careers/) SUPPORT [CONTACT US](https://www.gigmasters.com/contact) [EVENT INSPIRATION](https://www.gigmasters.com/events) [FAQs](https://www.gigmasters.com/help) PEACE OF MIND [GIGMASTERS GUARANTEE](https://www.gigmasters.com/guarantee) [BBB ACCREDITED](http://www.bbb.org/connecticut/business-reviews/entertainers/gigmasters-com-inc-in-norwalk-ct-87004338/) [MCAFFEE SECURE](https://www.mcafeesecure.com/verify?host=www.gigmasters.com) [USER AGREEMENT](https://www.gigmasters.com/user-agreement) [PRIVACY POLICY](https://www.gigmasters.com/privacy) Copyright © 2017 GigMasters, Inc.
