For some it’s a romance-filled day, but for others, it can be a reminder of their single Facebook status. If Valentine’s Day isn’t your thing, you should start planning for the trendiest holiday yet: Galentine’s Day. Galentine’s Day is all about celebrating the ladies in your girl squad and it’s official date is February 13th. You could opt for snail mail, but evites are just as good. Whichever you choose, make sure to emphasize that this day is all about the ladies - no boys allowed! If you’re having a potluck style meal or need anyone to bring a bottle of wine, let them know when you tell them to save the date. You can request everyone bring a dish,  go out to a restaurant, order takeout, or do it all yourself (in which case, kudos to you)! Brunch or dinner are both appropriate for Galentine’s Day. Set up a mimosa bar with plenty of fruits and juices to compliment champagne if you choose brunch.
