Barbara, from Boyds, MD, knew she had a very special birthday to celebrate, and not just any birthday, but a 30th birthday for her horse Tilly! She booked Jeff Herbert to play bagpipes as tribute to Tilly's grandsire, and it's safe to say, the party was a huge success. 

Barbara shared her event story with us: 

"I engaged Jeff to play his bagpipes for my Thoroughbred horse's 30th birthday party. The bagpipes were to honor her grandsire Nijinsky, trained by the magnificent Vincent O'Brien in Ireland. Since she had never before heard bagpipes, I asked Jeff to play a bit to see how she would react. They actually calmed her! Jeff also participated in presenting Tilly a carrot cake. The audience applauded and gave effusive compliments.  Jeff was patient, kind, and generously participated to make the party truly memorable." 

Barbara left Jeff a 5-star review on GigMasters and said, "Fantastic! Jeff was super to work with and his music made my event very special! A wonderful memory."
