Tell us a little bit about yourself, what you do, and how you got started!
I describe myself as a Tarotpist Psychic Medium. I was always interested in the occult but was held back by the religion I grew up with. A friend gifted me a tarot deck for my birthday in 2020, and I aggressively dove into learning the craft. I felt a strong need to read for others since the world was basically falling apart, so I started doing readings on a psychic website and honed my skills from there!
Can you share some details about a recent event?
I was recently hired for a small get-together in Yonkers, NY for women looking for a medium. I instructed each of them to bring something that belonged to the person who passed away so that I could use psychometry as a way to connect. After I was settled, my client handed me a blue crocheted blanket. I began to explain to her that I was seeing her and what felt like her husband on a beach. Then, I started getting images of a highchair and seeing the blanket over a pregnant belly. I kept saying that there's a baby that's important here... At first, I thought that I may be channeling her mother or grandmother, but then she explained that I was seeing this blanket over a pregnant belly because she lost her baby and had a stillbirth. So the blanket was for her baby while she was pregnant.
After spending more time channeling and using a personally made deck that I use for mediumship, I brought her a lot of peace around her loss. Towards the end, I told her, "I'm hearing the name 'Bart' and I don't know why." She immediately laughed because that was a name that they joked about naming him. It's these little things that I look for to confirm to my client that I've established a true connection with their loved ones to let them know that they're still with us.
What is your favorite part about being a psychic?
My favorite part about being a psychic is connecting with people who have passed away. Picking up on memories, names, and events (past and present) that I couldn't possibly know and being able to provide someone with evidence that their loved one is still around is a gift that I'm truly grateful for. Seeing my clients' relief, contentment, and sometimes tears after I've channeled their person is just everything to me. Shocking the skeptics is fun too!
What is your key to getting booked?
I pick up the phone! I'm not always able to be the first to respond, but I typically call, email, and message on The Bash only after I've been notified that my potential client has viewed my quote. I take the opportunity to explain how I work in more detail and walk through exactly what they can expect if they decide to book me for their event. I always leave a voicemail because I was born in the 90's, and I don't email more than twice. I trust that I will attract clients that resonate with my energy.
What is your #1 tip or advice for other psychics starting on The Bash?
Many people who offer spiritual services are uncomfortable with marketing their services because in their mind they will attract who they're meant to attract. That's cute, but you'll be swallowed up by the ones who aren't afraid to put themselves out there if you take this approach! Being recommended by friends and family will only get you so far. Utilize social media to your advantage and let your personality shine! People are investing in YOU. So show them why you're awesome, unique, talented, etc.
What is your favorite feature on The Bash that helps you get booked?
I love the "Upcoming Events" section on my profile page. I think it gives confidence to potential clients that I'm being booked for other events too. Think about it: no one wants to eat at an empty restaurant, you know? There's probably a reason that it's empty...
