Claus to learn more about how he became Santa Claus, his favorite holiday memories, and what he expects this upcoming holiday season.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you were inspired to become Santa Claus!
Years ago, I was inspired by Walt Disney. On a visit to Disneyland, I was enchanted by how the magic and joy seemed to touch every heart. I wondered, “How can I bring that same sense of wonder directly into people’s homes—where everyone can experience it up close?”
Shortly after, a photographer friend invited me to help at her mall kiosk. I assumed I’d be working behind the camera, but when I arrived, she smiled and said, “Go to the back and get dressed.” Puzzled, I walked into the dressing room—where the only thing waiting was a Santa suit. With a bit of hesitation, I suited up and stepped out as Santa for the very first time.
For the next three hours, I listened to story after story, wish after wish. Each child who sat with me brought a spark of magic, and piece by piece, they stole my heart. By my second or third session, a little one handed me a small wrapped gift and whispered, “Don’t open it until Christmas.” Inside was a handmade camel ornament—one that still hangs on my tree every year.
That was the day Santa Albert was born. From then on, I’ve been hooked. Each holiday season, I look forward to donning the big red suit and sharing joy, imagination, and holiday magic with families everywhere—bringing a little sparkle and wonder into every home I visit.
Can you share some details about a holiday event from last season?
Last year, we partnered with Chick-fil-A for a three-hour holiday event. During that time, we photographed the entire team—employees, the owner, and even regular guests who stopped in to dine. Children waited patiently for their turn with Santa, using the time to write out wish lists and make “Reindeer Treats,” two activities we suggested that turned out to be a wonderful success.
Can you tell us about the most memorable holiday event you have booked through The Bash?
Back in 2020, during the height of COVID, I was invited to visit a preschool for their annual Winter Celebration. With all the safety measures in place—masks, distancing, and careful protocols—it was a challenge to perform as Santa in the way I was used to. I wasn’t sure how the magic would translate under those conditions.
But to my surprise, the visit went far better than expected. The children’s joy overcame the obstacles, and the hostess later shared a review that truly touched me:
“Santa Albert is truly the BEST! We hired him to make an appearance at my daughter’s preschool for their annual Winter Celebration. He was incredibly thorough during the entire booking process. Despite all the restrictions due to the pandemic, he kept an open line of communication and even made adjustments to ensure our event would be safe for everyone. All the children had an amazing time—he was the highlight of our celebration. We are so grateful for such an amazing experience, especially in these trying times. He comes highly recommended. We can’t wait to hire him back next year!”

How do you keep the magic alive for both kids and adults during holiday events?
I keep the magic alive by staying 100% in character, spreading joy to everyone I meet. Each guest, both young and old, has a moment with Santa, and as I make my merry exit, I leave them with a twinkle in their eye and a heart full of holiday cheer.

Every laugh, every wish, every twinkle in an eye becomes part of the magic!
What is your guess as to what the most popular Christmas gift will be this upcoming holiday season?
Ho, ho, ho! Gather ‘round, my friends, for Santa has peeked at his list and the most requested gift of 2025 is none other than… Labubu by Pop Mart!
These delightful little creatures are causing quite the stir at the North Pole. Each one comes as a surprise in a “blind box,” making them extra magical to open. They’re cuddly, quirky, and a little mischievous—perfect for sparking joy and wonder in children (and collectors!) everywhere.
