From employee gatherings to holiday and end-of-year celebrations, requests and bookings for corporate events rise in August and continue to grow throughout the fall and holiday season. We're sharing some key trends we saw for corporate functions in the second half of last year to help vendors gain insight into the busy season.

Keep in mind that corporate events are among the top-planned and highest-earning bookings all year, and there are many additional vendor types that are requested and booked for corporate functions.

Top-Requested Vendor Types

Here are the top-requested vendor types for corporate events from August to December:
  1. Caricaturist
  2. Santa Claus
  3. DJ
  4. Motivational Speaker
  5. Jazz Band
  6. Cover Band
  7. Magician
  8. Tarot Card Reader
  9. Acoustic Guitarist
  10. Mentalist

Request & Booking Trends

Here are some seasonal trends we saw for corporate events on The Bash last year:

  • Requests for corporate events increased 11% from July to August, and bookings increased 16% from July to August last year.
  • Last year, there was a 19% increase in requests and 38% increase in bookings for corporate functions in the second half of the year compared (July to December) to the first half of the year (January to June).
  • Requests and bookings for corporate functions typically peak in November.
  • Vendors are currently earning an average of $1K per 2-hour corporate event.
  • Some vendors have been booked for up to $10K for a corporate event this year.
